Bella's Adorable Lip Sync Show

It was SO much fun to watch Kleb's Lip Sync Show last weekend. 

Bella was in "Matilda" and was far left most of this video. Though it's kind of hard to see, she is the "block hopper" (1:57 in video)! So dang cute!!!

College In Person

Just finished my first LIVE in person college class!! I loved it. It was with my online professor from last semester. Makes me happy.

I went for an extra credit opportunity and the class was on "Note Taking"! Great topic, ay!! It wasn't the topic that made it so awesome, it was the professor! I loved watching her! So neat to meet someone in person after communicating back and forth over the internet. What a concept! :)) haha 

My Dilemma

I struggle everyday with all my responsibilities. The other day I was having a terrible time focusing enough to get my History Chapter read and do the subsequent discussion that was due that night. I was planning to read the chapter while the girls were all gone at Mutual (church) and Activity Days.

After the girls left I came into the living room and found Bentley there asking where the girls went. I told him and then he replied:

"So, it's just you and me here?"

Me: "Yes"

Bentley: "Yay, Mommy & Bentley time!"

..... therein lies my dilemma everyday. <3

Aiden

My nephew, Aiden, is such a cutie. My sister has been sending me a few things from him and I want to add them here so I can always remember.

My sister and Noah went to San Diego for their anniversary. This was a conversation between her and Aiden who was texting her from home. He was using "talk to text". haha Auto-correct misunderstood him...

He was texting his dad. It's supposed to say "We're getting Nolan. Ok". 

...ok! 

 

She sent me this one yesterday. haha He's so cute!!

Helpful Advice

This morning we were driving home from our school run when I told Bentley I didn't know how to keep up with the housework, being a good mom, doing my vinyls, and my school work. I asked him if he had anything helpful to tell me.

He was quiet and thought for a few seconds then said:

"Work faster momma".

Good advice boy baby!!

A Visit From Home

Dad and Robin came for a visit Sunday. It was great to have family here. Bent loved his time with grandpa playing soccer. They played for awhile, even when it started raining. 

Cali & Bella were on one team and they had a special "fist bump" they would do when they made  good play. 

My Valentine's Date

Bentley got tickets for Christmas to see Marvel Avenger's Live on Valentine's Day. He and mommy would have a date. It was at the old Reliant Stadium (now NRG Stadium) and this was our ride up the escalator to our seats.

Show Time!

Lots of pyrotechnics and lasers, flying and flipping. 

We really liked the show and we followed it up with a shopping trip to Hobby and Lowes for work supplies. We had a good time! 

This was us at Lowes! haha 

I didn't know my way around that part of town but after Lowes we drove around the see what was there and stumbled upon a choice between Saltgrass and Cafe Express! I went back and forth (save the money or eat at my favorite steak house ever on my special date) but decided upon Saltgrass!!!!! 

It was delicious, worked with  my diet, and Bentley loved it! 

Best date ever ever ever!

Silly Bentley

No Time

I desire to blog all the time! There is so much I haven't written but time is not my best friend. It's usually the best I can do to write something short and sweet and/or post a picture.

This time in my life is so important and I want to document as much as I can. It's a struggle to balance all the responsibility of daily life and make time to blog. I'm going to attempt to be better, even if it's small bits.

Miranda Sings

Cali begged for Miranda Sings tickets for a Christmas present. The dilemma was the Houston show was sold out and only Dallas had tickets left. I told her I didn't think that would be possible for us but surprised her with tickets on Christmas! She invited Kailyn to go with us and we headed out at noon on Friday. 

They laid the middle seats completely down and sat in the back. 

 First Stop: Buc-ees! Of course. 

 Second Stop: Rest Area. Of course! haha

 Our hotel: Indigo Downtown Dallas. It was beautiful and fabulous! 

 All of us ready for the show! 

 She performed at The Majestic Theater. Right across the street (literally) from our hotel. 

 We walked around downtown looking for Jason's Deli for dinner. We were sad to find it closed at 3:30. Who does that!? 

 After the show we walked to 7-11, prayed we wouldn't get killed because it looked sketchy, and enjoyed the beauty of downtown. 

 This was my view waking up the next morning after seriously the best night's sleep I have ever had. Bed was luscious and once my head hit the pillow I didn't stir until an hour BEFORE my alarm. I felt wide awake! It probably helped that I had been up since 4 am Friday but still.. 

Best Bed ever. 

 And… this was my view on the other side. Cali had a bloody nose. Poor thing.
